The cops in my town are considered strict and i have driven around hoodless with my old 350 blazer and 86 gti. I just passed like 3 cops today without my front bumper and the hole in the hood. They don't care unless you're doing something like reckless or careless driving, run a light, speeding, stuff like that.

No hood is a maybe, but one time i got pulled over in daylight for not haiving my bumper cover on, let alone the steel support not being on. but in pa all lights have to work. so not havin the turn signals on the bumper a huge no no.

Yeah, i love MI. So relaxed when it comes to cars.

People drive around with straight drag cars with slicks, nitrous, open headers and shit. Cops don't care. a lot of cops actually stop and talk to us.

I think Flint being vehicle city and a GM and car town helps.

I don't plan on it haha.

Today me and my buddy made a hockey puck front motor mount. So no more rocky motor. Also the hood came slamming down on my head and cut it open. It hurt like a bitch.

Tomorrow i'm hoping to build a battery tie down, put the white hood on, and check my timing.

So, i got bored so i decided to put the white hood on. Raised the hood pins a little and hood stoppers. The water neck barely cleared. The motor still has some rock back and forth so i was afraid it was rock the water neck into the hood and break. It was a bitch to find a good 2.0 DOHC water neck so i don't want it to break. So i had to beat on the hood a little. I call it the hood tumor. Oh well, no fucks given. It's a shitty car, i don't really care how it looks as long as it runs and drives fine.

Built a battery tie down, and exhuast hanger.

Painted the red vents purple because no fucks given.

Got a different color purple and painted the hood and wheels.

Had a blast auto crossing. The fastest i ran in the rain was a 1:08. In the dray i ran a 59.9. I spun out once with my buddy in the car, i pushed it too hard and i was used to his extra 220lbs.

Put the bumper on today. Also painted the shitty gray door panels black and my buddy helped me wrap some pieces.

Tomorrow me and my buddy are going to the junkyard to get a bunch of sensors and stuff.
