Car its going on is 90% complete and I will update new pics when I finish putting it together. It's going on a Tamiya front wheel drive M-05 chassis. Body has been discontinued for almost 10 years so it should be the only neon on the track.

I bought it from a guy on neons.org, it was new in the package still. I wanted to have it professionally painted like a challenge car butits going to get beat up on the track so I decided against it. Its got a shorter wheelbase than most 1/10 scale rc cars. Its made by parma specifically for the tamiya mini cooper m-05 chassis. I am thinking about seeing how many I would have to buy to get Parma to run me some. I heard they never throw molds away and will do reruns if a certain quantity is purchased. I hope to get a video of the race this friday and post it up for peopl to see it in action.

It wouldnt fit, it would be around 30mm too short. It wont even fit on the chassis the Ferrari body is on. The mini cooper chassis is only 160mm. I think the E10 is 190 or 200. A few people are running E10 bodies in the tt-01 class since we have an open body rule, thats what the Ferrari is. The mini cooper class has to have a body made for the mini cooper chassis, m-03 or m-05, I really lucked out finding the neon body but it only fits the m-03 body so my car may not handle as well as the longer chassis cars I will be running against. I am a little concerned with the neon body since I dont have the foam front bumper. I am afraid of breaking he front end off so I may have to paint the mini cooper body and race it this week.

Great wheel choice. Or was that just what came with the Mini chassis?

Looks way nicer than my car! haha

Those are the wheels that came with the mini cooper kit. They do look pretty good. I thought about painting them with the silver I used for the stripes but didn't yet and I may not. I havent glued the tires yet. I tried putting the Ferrari wheels on it but they were too big and since they arent legal to race with I didnt want to cut he body to fit them. I am waiting on a quote on how much its going to cost to get some more of these bodies ran. I orignally heard you had to buy 20 but this guy said they might do it for 10 bodies. He seemed shocked anybody would want one. I told him if they made them to fit the 200mm touring cars they probably wouldnt have had to discontinue them but only being able to fit one particular chassis there wasnt much market for them.

=( I was thinking it would fit. I didn't know what size the neon body was. I do like the black TE37's on my R32 though.
