I say the painted interior and the muffler both look silly as hell. At least you won't have to worry about people tailgating you.

April 12/10 work

Found a DOHC in the yard here ( rare ) So i pulled what i could off the engine for my 2.4l swap

To bad someone got at the PCM and harness. So don't really know what imma do for that, im thinking about getting the modern-performance PCM

DOHC hood

DOHC intake manny , Heater hard pipes, PS reservoir and the high pressure lines to the steering column , in the plastic bag i got the Cam positioning sensor and thermostat housing.

NOw for a question.....

Here is the Exhaust manny

PITA , So why do i have to use this exhaust manny when the 2.4 looks pretty close to the same thing, i don't wanna go through all the effort to try and get this exhaust manifold off when i can just use the 2.4 that i already have pulled off. i know how the cat setup is different but if i get some Flex-pipe and just weld that , Skipping the cat and just make a down-pipe for it? would that work or is there a REAL good reason for having to use a 2.0DOHC exhaust manifold?

Also, Im notable to get a DOHC wiring harness. I have 2 SOHC harnesses that im going to try and make work with the 2.4.

Are there any big problems im going to run into. do i have to get some plugs off a DOHC harness or should i be good with the 2 i have.

i know i gotta do some wiring work but im just worried about the different connectors on the harness its self.

98 ATX SOHC harness
96 MTX SOHC harness

that's what i got ATM

the 2.4 is 96-97 yearish

i pulled off the Cam positioning senor on the head of the 2.0dohc but because someone got at the DOHC harness already i couldn't get the connector end of the harness. Is that a problem or will the SOHC cam connector work? ( i know the cam senor on SOHC and DOHC are on opposite sides )

Painted interior #-o

You can use the sohc harness on the dohc no problem, you just need to extend one of the wires in the harness. Use the one from the mtx if your gonna use the mtx trans.

Ya i have been thinking about changing the painted interior to all black, with some minimal red highlights.

knowing that i should be okay with the sohc harness thats good news. Also if the knock senser isnt hooked up will that cause any problems except not knowing if your engine is knocking bad if that happened:P
cuz i cant get a 2.0 DOHC version of it
