iv seen it done once on the big org a long time ago. Dont quote me but i know you have to use the 2g hood somehow

This doesn't help you a lot but...there is a video on youtube of a kid who put an srt front end on his 1st gen. It wasn't a complete how to but he has a little bit of video and explains what he did really well just not enough vid of the work in progress. But anyway, he had to use the headlights, hood, front bumper cover and modified fiberglass fenders.
