So is the 91 mazda 323 in my dad's drive way. Guess that is fast too  We could always race on foot, and I'll host a video. There is a track near my house

I could carry on about racing you with my friend's TA 13 sec or a 13 flat n/a monte carlo. But let's just save this for the next neon I build. If it makes you feel better, I'm doing it just to beat you

I can't decide if I'm sensing a lot of hostility in this thread... Or a friendly rivalry. Seems a bit too "heated" to be friendly.

Me and Ghost have always had a friendly rivalry. Me with SOHCS and him with DOHCS. Mine just happen to have the habit of tags, and running .

Atleast for me, I actually drove the 11 second car when it was a low 10 sec car. Something just wasn't clicking the last time it ran and was only in the low 11s

1st run, snapped an axle, drove to autozone, drove back to the track, fixed it quick.

2nd run, bogged launch to a 2.3, hit the 90 shot right there, it was INTENSE. Pinged a little at the top of 3rd and 4th, sounded like a rod knock, just light. Ended up driving it home, and there's no more noise. I guess it was lifter tap afterall. I am going to change the oil and check for shavings or anything.

R/T: -.067
60': 2.341
330: 5.965
1/8: 8.886
1/8 MPH: 83.73
1000': 11.426
1/4: 13.589
1/4 MPH: 103.60

All in all it wasn't bad, my button idea worked perfectly. 1st and 2nd were kinda scary. As soon as I hit the button I was almost at 7K in 1st. It spun my 225's really hard going into 2nd.

Next time out, I'm gonna have to run colder plugs and higher octane.

And the platinum was "running" when my red car was on the road. Better to state you have better employment than I did. I have 85% of the parts needed in this room to build a 13 sec n/a 2.4L. Seeing as all my friend have gone V8 or boosted V6, I'll need more to keep. Besides my last 4 neons were n/a. Why not break the mold?

Oh, and I do not use other peoples cars to race. Just stating that competition is leveling up in my circle (not you Jerry  ). People read what they want. He is a neon owner after all.
