SloUSDM20 is staying NA...

Post by SloUSDM20 » Sun Jan 25, 2009 7:07 pm

Okay. I swapped the DOHC in and now this Summer Im going to build the head up with cams, springs, and finish the port work. I have Crane springs, an OBX header(I may be working to get a kirk or OBX LTH). I know I said i was gonna boost but I dont know...so im staying NA. and this set up without the spray will seem more reliable til I get my DD...

Crower Stg 3 Cams
Crower valvesprings
OBX Mid-Length header(for now...)
90* less intake
Jeep 60mm TB
ARP rod bolts
Mopar PCM
wideband O2
Fidanza cam gears
PT clutch--*coming in April*

Built block-10.5:1 CR
ARP head bolts
50-shot NX wet kit--*more toward the end of summer*

24lb injectors and an SRT fpr isn't going to cut it. You need an FMU or MegaSquirt. 36lb injectors will work best. The stock clutch holds low boost levels just fine.

Bang for buck 1/4 mile, Nitrous kit=yes.

For overall performance I'd go with a Mopar or AF/X computer and a different header.

Yes, please dear god get rid of that unequal length shit. Get an OBX long tube, you'll thank me later.

Spray, it's fun, and you can get a kit for $300. $300 + $40-$60 to fill a bottle, you can't boost for that cheap.

better add arp cam tower studs to the list. The threds in your head will thank you. By the way are you using aftermarket rods? I was wondering if not, What are the part numbers for the arp rod bolts for stock rods?
