A serious auto-x Neon wouldn't be running 17" wheels.

Your right, accel is. and a smaller overall diameter tyre will give you faster accel, not to mention that you will be hard pressed to find a 17 inch rim that weighs less than a 14 inch rim.
and by the way, do you have any idea what kuhmo ecsta v710s are? they are autox slicks. Doesnt take a genius to relize that they make more than two kinds of slicks.
Ive read just your posts in this thread, and it sounds like your some punk kid who knows everything about neons because your on a forum. Get a job in the auto industry, start racing seriously, and then call me in 7 years.

i can't quite tell, are those 14's your running?

17's work just as good in autox as they do in road racing, if not better because speed is not a goal in autox

Just to let you know, um that's not a picture of a auto - x course. Just roysneon on a WET road course that's waiting to understeer and loose grip in the next corner.....with it's boat anchor 17's which look good but are heavy compared to 14's. Sorry Roy, you just got caught in the crossfire. You can blame ScrewR/T for that.

Actually they're 16's.

It was my heavy BBS's with full tread depth RS2's or 14's with near bald Azenis' on them. In the rain, for a driving school, I chose the latter.

This was not at an auto-x, nor am I serious about it either, but I am glad to know that speed is not a goal in auto-x. Nest time I'm out I'll be sure to let everyone else know, too. And to thing, everyone has been doing it wrong the whole time.

Have you ever been to an auto-x event?

I only got involved in this for 2 reasons. This thread would of been a good sticky, but of course, like always on here somebody (BlueR/T) had to come along near the end and muck it all up. This started as a informative post but ended up as a dick swinging debacle.
Second, Blue decided to use a innocent third party's image (roy's), to make himself appear to know what he is talking about, but failed.

im not, although i should be
You're kidding right? Are you not the one with the spray can RICE interior with the "Autometer" tach bondo'ed to the dash with the, I'm only guessing here, Autozone seat covers?
BlueR/T wrote: believe me when i say i have WAY more racing experience then you
Show us a car that you have that IS a race car, not just a street car with a turbo in it. Or do you run the 1/4 with that sub in the trunk and a full interior during eliminations. No wait, you just street race don't you, wait for a car to pull up next to you that you feel emasculated by and decide to jump it. I think you're definition of racing is skewed. I know you must suscribe to Super Street, those Euro clears are speed parts aren't they?
Show a pic of a slip or your car on a track, (not I-70) and I might believe you.

Vinny or Diablo, please lock this thread before he hits the "quote" button again and digs himself deeper.

So, does lying about stuff like this really make people feel better about themselves?

Kind of sad.

Oh and btw dumbfuck:

My 14" azenis on at a dry auto-x event, not a wet driving school.

It's like comparing smart people to whatever you are, or apples to oranges if you like that one better.

We could always go and delete all the crap posts, and make it a good sticky still.
