Modding my '96 Highline

Start:

After a while, the paint started peeling..

Shaved the symbols off.

Painted my interior black/red.. Looks better now..

I just did my second touch-up job two or three weeks ago..

Well.. That will last for a few months (hopefully)..

I changed out my old o2 sensor today:

Had to do some splicing because of this:

And cut up my hands pretty good trying to get past the stock intake system.. Also a pain in the ass getting oil off of my arm from my leaky pan.

That's all I have for today.. More to come (ATX TB, INTAKE, ETC.)

This new Tach Cluster and overlay is coming this week on Thursday hopefully:

I am going to paint it white and install it.. Maybe do an LED swap into it.

I can't wait for it.

I'll be getting an ATX TB and a 3.0 intake soon as well.

Keep the stock hubcaps on until you can get some rims.. And Ditch the black and red and maybe Do satin/flat black all over.

I was thinking the same.. It looks better in person, but still doesn't match the exterior..

I was thinking about painting it this weekend but then I remembered about my o2 sensor and did that.

Update!

Installed the cluster

Installed boogers

Bought a few things to go on

Clear third brake light

Set of four Stock Neon Sport wheels

Clear side markers (no pic)

Euro Front turn signals

That's it for now

Will update with pics when everything is installed..

the overlay...with that color scheme it just doesnt flow for me. but hell what does it matter what i think, you like it? yes? good thats all that matters

heh.. I am re-painting everything in the interior flat black.. I grew out of the red.. Really did it since I was bored..

Well this was fun today.. 5 hours of fun to be exact..

The stock lugs won't fit my new (used) sport rims.. So after they changed all of my rubber over to the new rims, they told me that the stock ones weren't safe.. This was after charging me $32 for switching the rims and mounting and such..They charge me $6 to dispose of the old worn out rubbers on the new rims. Then they told me that I would have to go get them lugs that would work.. So they make me RUN to Advance Auto Parts (without my car) that's about a half mile away to get lugs.. I get there and I ask for the aftermarker wheel lugs that fit my cars make and year and such.. They sell the only set of them they have to me for $31.98 (or something like that).. I run the half mile back and bring them in.. They open them up and try to put them on.. The offset won't work for the lugs for some stupid reason, so one of the guys that is changing out my rims gets his car, one of the new rims, and me and him ride down to advance auto to ask them.. We get there and they have NOTHING that will fit.. So I get a refund on the lugs and since he wants to get back because he is already working afterhours, he takes his car and my rim back while I am getting my refund.. WTF! So I jog back the half mile and then I have them move my rubbers back to the steelies.. They were pissed (especially the crippled guy)... So all that is done and they won't give me a refund on anything... I am pissed..

The original switch of the rims, I waited over 1 hour.. With them doing nothig at all.. Then when they finally got it up there, I waited two and a half more hours for them to put the rubbers on the new rims.. Then all of the above happens, and Them switching back to the steelies took twenty minutes.. PRICELESS!

Now get this.. This job today was done in less than thirty minutes..
