what cam is best to run n/a on stock motor?
In My old 95' sohc I ran over 100 bottles in a single year. The car was BONE stock and went 14.30's on the stock 13" stealies and muffler. I never sprayed less than a 75 shot..did a 100 shot and went 13.70's with some more mods. A 75 shot is completely safe on a bone stock engine. An upgraded fuel pump is always recomended. If the car is your daily driver I would invest in a wideband and keep an eye of the AFR's while you are spraying.Tyler wrote:Watch that 50 shot. Nitrous tears up a stock internaled motor pretty quick. It dont matter how small the shot, do it enough times and wait for something to go wrong.

So the Cliffnotes of the thread are: 16's if you don't plan on modding even farther down the road, 18's if you have more mods planned, and a 50 shot is safe on a stock bottom end. I've got 14's in my race car head, but that's just because it needs to sound stock.

You can run 16s and still mod further.
