as i said in your other thread ...

your gonna need more then that to hit 13's .. with my mods i'm in the 14s or so estimated anyways. Your gonna need the basics UDP, CAI, also pick up cam gear(s), maybe put a small shot of nos on it to knock an easy .5 - 1 second off. Some small weight reduction.

Watch that 50 shot. Nitrous tears up a stock internaled motor pretty quick. It dont matter how small the shot, do it enough times and wait for something to go wrong.

u can safely run 50 on a stock engine. There is a huge thread on that over at the .org if interested in the topic.

and yes ur right also after many usages there is normal wear from the forced pressure, but that's with any type of mod like that. To be safe an upgraded internals is best for nos.

In My old 95' sohc I ran over 100 bottles in a single year. The car was BONE stock and went 14.30's on the stock 13" stealies and muffler. I never sprayed less than a 75 shot..did a 100 shot and went 13.70's with some more mods. A 75 shot is completely safe on a bone stock engine. An upgraded fuel pump is always recomended. If the car is your daily driver I would invest in a wideband and keep an eye of the AFR's while you are spraying.

So the Cliffnotes of the thread are: 16's if you don't plan on modding even farther down the road, 18's if you have more mods planned, and a 50 shot is safe on a stock bottom end. I've got 14's in my race car head, but that's just because it needs to sound stock. :P

You can run 16s and still mod further.
