I like what your doing. Good mixture of speed and style. I would steer clear of the indy though.
'95 N/A SOHC Budget Drag Car in the works!
Shooting for some low 13's/high 12's by the end of summer.
Looking for some cheap magnum valve springs, a solid FMM, a solid bobble, and a nice non-mod clutch setup.

3.0 CAI
Ebay UDP
Port your own Manifold, Gasket match the head on both I and E sides
Get at LEAST a pacesetter or a Magnum Header, the Magnum header is the best bang for the buck. (port match this too)
Dynomax is good, MSD is good
50 dollar paint job
Cheap wheels with them ecstas
Take car of your show needs
Detail it
Take pics
For you to spend the money any other way is just dumb...we're neon owners and we know the cheap routes. What you want is certainly not the cheap route and it's not necessarily the best bang for your buck.

The wheels are cheap compared to others...$97 or so each.
I do want it to be a show car as well as a daily driver, so a 3.0 doesn't really fill my needs as far as appearence though i will be using one untill i can afford to get a better looking intake.
I'm not a fan of e-bay and never will be so thats most likely not an option for me.

Don't bother with the high flow cat, since you live in WI just eliminate it or keep the stock one. And go with an AMM Intake Manifold. The Indy is really only good for turbo cars.

SO spend the money on a kirk, or make your own, and get a MPX udp. But as for the other mods, don't waste your money.DMez wrote:The wheels are cheap compared to others...$97 or so each.

Pleasepleaseplease swap it to the 3.94 final drive mtx trans. Holy world of difference.
AMM manifolds here! http://theneonworld.jconserv.net/viewtopic.php?t=61
All that money on a hood/truck but such a cheap skimpy header.
Skip the coil/ignition. Not needed, the only good thing with the ignition would be a two step or timing retard.
Pretty soon AMM might be making longtubes as well!
Every n/a neon needs more pcm action too. Af/x race ftw, mopar is also worth the money. No throttlebody?
