Cat!

Post by Tyler » Tue Feb 20, 2007 7:46 pm

I need a 2.5" cat now. Im putting my Kirk on this w/e and need one to put with my dynomax 2.5" piping. Ok, where can I get one quick and one that is good? Does Advanced AutoParts, Autozone, or Carquest carry aftermarket 2.5" cats that would work? I would order from Modern but it will take longer and I dont know if it will be here by Saturday.

Get a Moroso spiral flow, or for less dough a Dynomax Race Bullet might do the trick

Flex pipe before the cat generally.

Did you take the restrictive flex joint out of that Kirk?

I didnt come with the connecter when I bought it used. So I was just gonna have them go kirk>cat or resonator>piping>stock dohc muffler.

It didn't come with the back part after the donut thing? I'd cut off the rest of the donut and have a 2.5" flange welded onto the haeader. That's what I did with the Kirk I had.

And if possible, put the resonator further back in the straight part of the piping, it will be more effective.
