hey hey hey!! im gonna start a project log here, i hope everyone likes it/gets something from it. all comments are welcome, so are haters. anyway, some of you know my car, some dont. i doubt any of you know me. so, my name is jon, i live in stockton,ca, central valley. PM if you have questions, or post it on the thread. i'll slowly post pics, some are old, but i will caption most of the pics the car is a 1997 ACR

right when i got it

so, i got this far, moved to a larger house, and change my mind about the quality of the car. its an ACR<not something you see everyday. i figured it was worth taking my time and trying to get a feature in a magazine, i got a few friends who have. so, the next set of pics will be progress to where it is now, those just shown are a few months old.

I was wondering how long it would be till you showed up over here.

Welcome and though I think the wheels are little extreme I appreciate something alittle different.

The new wheels are 16x8 +0et right ?

the door paint does not match, they were painted off the car and i messed up, that is part of what promted me to go through the whole car. the drop is however low you can get it befor it hits the body, i know, its dumb. i plan on getting some k-sports once its repainted

Really? I was always under the impression that was a '97 only thing, that on '98-'99 it became integral with the ECU or something. I don't recall my '98 SOHC having one down there. I could very well be mistaken though.
