Air Filter and Oil

I have a K&N air filter on my 98 Neon RT and I was just wondering what oil do I use for the for the Air filter. I was reading somewhere that the K&N need oil for the filter and there was oil on the filter already and I thin it needs to be cleaned. I was wondering if it was just regular engine oil or if it is special intake oil for my CAI. thanks.

they sell a recharge kit for these can usually be found where ever k&n are sold

yeah, they are available everywhere K&N's are

also, becareful not to put too much oil on it. all it needs is just a light coat so that the filter turns red, no need for any more oil than that.
