neons and snow

Post by subzero » Wed Mar 20, 2013 3:43 pm

So am I the only one that experiences how horrible neons are in the snow? My neon gets pushed around by the snow and can feel it lose traction and had my rear end come around on me when driving in the parking lot at work. When I had my 5g Celica it was a boss in the snow. Basically is there anything you guys know that would make it a little bit better in the snow I have 185 65 14 tires on which are stock size I planned on getting some 195 65 14 nexen n5000 for it cause that's what I put on the Celica. Besides that between the 2 cars do you think the lack of a rear sway on the neon may be a Factor to?

You might want to check and see if your emergency brake is adjusted right. I haven't had any problems. 1997 base model no abs 5spd.
