What are you getting for mpg of gas in your neon?
I was just wondering what other neon owners are getting for miles per gallon of gas in this crappy economy. I'm getting 23-25 mpg in the city and about 29 on the highway, not the greatest but not bad for a 13 year old car I have a 99 coupe 2.0 dohc, post what you have and what your getting for fuel economy!

my 2.0 wasnt too bad, 25-30 city, 35ish highway, but that was with ported head and cams. the 2.4, it gets about 20-25 city and barely 30ish highway. i also swapped the trans from the r/t trans to the better sohc for the 2.4, if that makes sence.
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

I get 220-240 miles per tank on average.
High way traveling gets me As high as 300 miles per tank which is roughly 25mpg
