well that depends on what modifications you have anyway. if you don't have many at all, I'd start from the bolt ons first like the UDP. then once you're done with the bolt ons, then go for taking more intricate things apart like replacing the clutch or the cam.

Like they said above, depending on what you already have, if you're just starting out I'd go for the bolt ons like the UDP or ECU first then go for the cam and clutch.

Ditch the Bosch Platinums, Neons are notorious for not liking platinum plugs.

I think OBX is decent quality myself, but I wouldn't choose their header. TTI all the way, preferably their "long-tube."

I'd go in this order:

1. UDP
2. ECU
3. header + 2.5" piping
4. cam
5. clutch

how much better does each of these react to a sohc engine and about how much hp does it add and how much of change in like acceleration does it make

sohc love the udp they rev faster and my butt dyno tells me mine definitly accelerated faster.
Mine loved the mpp pcm depending on whether you have an atx or mtx you can take full advantage of the higher rev limit. I lost 4 tenths of a secound off my quarter mile with this and it turned off my cel for cat eff. and egr valve being blocked off.
my car loves ngk v-power plugs.
obx headers are a joke, they have the primaries running all over the place, just don't seem to look good for performance.
I have the crane 12 in my car right now and I'm waiting to do my header and a couple other things before I judge it but I think I'm pretty much bored with it and want to go bigger 14 or 400. And I'm not even done with break in. I just built this motor running higher compression and most bolt ons, I have a sachs heavy duty valeo clutch in it which is pretty much a stock clutch and it seems to be holding well the few times I romped it.... so far.

Everyone will tell you different,

If you have an ICEMAN already then here is what I would do.

Better airflow in wont' mean a thing if it you don't improve the air flow out. so I would get a LONG TUBE header if you can afford it and 2.5 exhaust pipe. a bigger TB That will help your car the most. The UDP will help your car MAKE more HP it would give you any. It will just FREE UP sum. Remove the PS and you see about the same gains(opinion here) The ECU will be a great mod IT will SUPPORT EVERYTHING else.
