crane 14 $328 new, crower doesnt make a sohc spring so not sure
pistons, around 500 new?
pcm $240 new
dohc muffler, i think they run around $80 new

You can find a pcm used easy enough, i think there is a 97-99 pcm for sale on the boards. Cams come up every now and then used. Dont see a lot of sohc pistons for sale, i have been watching for them for awhile. Hard to find a good used muffler, never know if its going to blow out in week either.

My car pulled a bit harder after we put the dohc pistons in my block. Not neck breaking but surprised at what a little bump in compression did. Some it could have been restored compression from the new rings but my car onlu had 72,000 on it when we put them in.

I hope that is a mandrel bent system for that price. If it is crush bent dont do it. Even being larger than the stock exhaust it probably wont flow as good with crush bends. I know it was discontinuedbut is still available im sure but you could get the dynomax pipe for around 180 and its easy to install. Spend 20 on good clamps, the band clamp style, and no need to weld.

all they do is madrel bend and its fully welded. its a custom exhaust shop still deciding if i want it out the back or out the sides im planning running it like the srt but with a flowmaster style muffler question how good are the ceramic core cats i see them for like 80 bucks in like jegs and summit but never thought of trying one

You need a lot more than just External Bolt On's to make 150whp in a SOHC.

My DOHX with Exhaust (headerback, no cat) and iceman makes 123whp

The clutch is self adjusting. However sometimes the cable needs readjusted. I think you pull on from the firewall side. There's a post about it here or the other org. Had to do it when I put the PT clutch in my car, actually did it to my car on accident then read about it later.
