Speed sensors...
New CEL...heres the OBD:
"The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for the vehicle speed sensor."
Now i know the sensor is on the tranny, but where on it? I really dont want to go to firestone so they can do it if I am able to take care of it without having to take anything OUT to get to the sensor.
Sensor $43 from Auto Zone
Info is appreciated

Excellence is a decision you make every day...
I don't think you have to take anything out besides the battery tray, and move the PDC out of the way. If you have cruise you might have to take the solenoid for it out for access. I don't think it should be too hard with basic hand tools.

ok, I am goin to assume its a MTX car(standard Shift) The sensor you are looking for is Right infront of the bracket that holds your bobble strut to the tranny. It can't be explained any different. There is a red secure tab that holds the plug push it to the side and push the release clip to remove the plug then its 1 10mm bolt. PULL IT GENTLY or you will lose the speedo gear in the trans.
