ok soo all my friends have hondas, they always asking me when im gonna get rid of my neon and get a honda lol, i love my neon. what can i say to back my neon up? why do yall drive and mod neons?

Because I can out run hondas in my neon. My neon gets 34 mpg avg. fuel economy. most of the honda guys around here get 28-30mpg. I have more headroom up front and more room period in the back of my neon.

ya ive definately noticed that, but in the performance area are there in advantages? my friends rag on me alot but for the minor work i have done ive beated my friends 00 civic and 95 teg, all my other friends got crazy modded hondas so i cant touch them

its the y8 vtec with same mods and the teg was an ls with 1.8 non vtec same mods but my other friend has a k24 in an ek hatch and a gsr teg fully built with fullrace turbo kit soo i know i can hang with those guys.

its easy, just tell them you don't want to be the same as they are. yeah we never may be as fast as a gutted hatch that weighs like half what my stock R/T does, but at least i have carpet and my heater and A/C work! :twisted:

i dont need to know what to say just wondering why yall drive neons really. i love my neon and never getting rid of it. i do tell them i like it and and its different plus the powerband feels so much better than a honda

haha i like that one. i dont know if neons are a more nothern thing but down here i never see any neons modded and the ones i do see are hideous

in calli we were laughed at by honda people. out here in utah there's a few more so im not all alone. and we drive it cause its an american compact car that doesnt look like it got hit in the face with a board!
