Alright i bought a set off a dude on the big org he doesnt know if there race or street they came on the neon he had when he bought it now do you guys know if theres a way i can tell if there the race or street ones?

I thought street inserts were urethane and race inserts were prothane. I could be wrong.

Prothane is the brand, urethane is the material. polyurethane is what they are actually made of. The race set is just made of a harder polyurethane. Both kits are red so without another set to compare them too you'll be kinda lost. If you got a part number the race ones are 4-1901 and street is 4-1902

Cool I didn't know that its been a little over a year since I last bought a set and they had always been red.

but they are known for red.. kinda like tein is known for green or koni is known for yellow.. haha sorry im still having trouble accepting the color change :(

They still have the red ones on ebay and I think Autozone can still get the red ones from energy suspension. The ones at autozone are the soft ones though.

Put them in and do a somewhat hard launch. The street ones wont stop the wheel hop, but the race ones are supposed to prevent it.
