Where can I get 30# injectors for a 98 DOHC ??

Post by Nono » Fri Oct 02, 2009 2:12 pm

I'm looking for a set of 4 injectors 30#. I've seen many websites but injectors are old style... like 95-96.

Any help appreciated !!!

You can buy adapters. Old style is an EV1 connector, new style is an EV6 connector.

I just bought a nice set off ebay for $50 bucks shipped, they were ev1 though. People say the ev1's are better why not switch connectors?

Dude, sorry but that is the worst advice I have seen. JY injectors, about $30 for 4. RRFPR about $250. Why not just spend $160 on new fitting injectors that are right rate?

It looks like sites use ev1 injectors for their pictures. I googled ev6 injectors and every picture showed an ev1 injector. Even changing search to images only it still showed ev1 injectors. I would give them a call about a particular part number to be sure. Or buy cheaper ev1s and adapters. http://www.cprracing.com/injectoradpt.htm

Well I did assume the guy wanted 30 lbers for switching to e85, I guess he could be boosted and already have an rrfpr and just needing bigger injectors...but I doubt it.

I didn't see that, I bet his neon is thirsty for some corn juice.
