TTI UDP install...
Well, I have the two (well three) piece TTI Race UDP for my 1gn, but I can't seem to separate the middle metal piece from the pulley. Anybody have any insight on how to go about getting these apart and also an install with possible pix?

i don't think you need to remove that section that's still on the pulley to put it on. the piece you have sitting to the right is what expands as you tighten it, in turn keeping it attached.
it might just be my tired eyes, but yours looks like its bigger around than mine. have you taken any measurements yet? (weight, diameter)
my TTI is only two pieces. (obviously on the left, next to the stock pulley)

As a matter of fact, mine does look a bit odd now that you mention it. May be an older version of it or something. I haven't taken any measurements yet and it's in my car, but I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

Put small piece on crank, put larger piece over it (tapers should come together). Line up bolt holes (mine was staggered if I remember right so it only went one way). Tighten bolts in star pattern slowly so it comes in straight. Don't recall torque specs, but you do it gradually like a wheel, head, or valve cover.

Partway down, a scan of the original instructions.

I went more like 13/14 ftlbs. I swear people were having these things come off with only 11ftlbs. But do not use cheap bolts and saltwater as thread locker.
