finally got my sport running...

Post by black94sol » Fri Nov 30, 2007 9:17 am

FINALLY, after 6 months of screwing with it. the wiring was completely screwed in the engine bay. deleted alot of useless wires. but i do have a few issues still. it still has a very rough idle. what could this be? i'm new to 1gn's, but i'd like to get this car to daily status very soon.

this mess is gone

currently hitting up junk yards for stock headlights, going to strip the dash and paint it black, make a block off for the airbag. myabe throw the extra del sol seats i have in it. probably order springs & new struts after christmas. the struts are blown, might as well get it a little lower...maybe more like my sol...

i've actually very excited about getting this running. i haven't driven the neon in 3 years.

drove the neon for 25 miles the other day. and for not running for about 3 years, sadly it idled better than my daily driven del sol does...

hoping to get it back on the road very soon, i really miss the torque... :(

" I miss the torque"

I said that after driving a 2.4 powered car. There's where you will get the torque-so save up !

I've always wanted a sol, but they need a transtop here in america :)

My 95 neon also has a pretty rough idle.

I has been this way since I bought the car 2 years ago.

Some people of Neononline.nl told me, this could be because the 95 model has a ''hotter'' cam.

Maybe that is also the case with your Neon? :) I see it should be a 94 model, I dont know if they are the same as 95.
