trouble with oil psi gauge

trouble with oil psi gauge

I installed my glow shift oil psi gauge the other day but it just maxes out right away. I know its not because my psi is more than 100 or id be typing about something else!. I put the sending unit it gave me in the back of the head I did not replace the stock sending unit in the block. any ideas??

did the sending unit for that fit into the stock fitting or did you need an adapter. I have one I just haven't put it on yet. where did you get yours? how much?

I didnt need the adapter its the 1/8 thread i got mine off ebay with an air/fuel and a pod it was like 70 bucks i think

I'm guessing the gauge or sender is broken. In the future don't buy anything from glow shift unless it is just a gauge pod or something, I would never trust their gauges.

I would trash the oil press., sell the useless narrowband A/F, and buy an Auto Meter SportComp mechanical oil press. gauge.

hey never mind I got it i just re-did the sending unit connections and re threaded the sending unit all systems go thanks for the help and advice

I got mine for $20 new from glowshift so if it works thats fine with me.
