The new old guy........

Post by 19blockhead72 » Wed Mar 16, 2011 8:09 pm

Hows everybody? I have been around on some other Neon sites for a while now and thought I would check you guys out. Anyway I'm a old school muscle car guy that found myself having fun with a 98 r/t coupe the last few years. It's a 2.4 swap with a list of mods a mile long. I'm shooting for the low13's this year all motor and may put the juice to it to see the 12's.

It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

Welcome, that is a beautiful car. It really does look like it has some old school flare to it. Just the way I like it. I've got some old school muscle myself. But it's another C not Chrysler.

I never shown a car their but I've been going to shows their since my legs started working lol. That would have been around the mid 70's when a Cuda was looked at like a Neon is now a days.

Civics weren't made in '65 and '69 ;) Chevy's is the blasphemous word I'm referring to.

I love my GM trucks. I want a Camaro though, so bad. I bet that 442 was fun, those were pretty cool in the 80s. I like the early ones though, like 70 442. 1970 was my most favorite year for pretty much all GM cars.

I would have to say that 1970 had some of the best cars ever, my favorite being the Cuda. Next would be any other performance Mopar, then the Camaro dz302 with the split bumper. The list could go on.
