I think I'm currently the only neon running here in my area.
I know it isn't much but I'm trying to save up for other parts like a new dual exhaust system, CAI, rims(the 1st thing I would really buy),shocks.... damn! $$$
Don't mind the stickers... It's just going to be on for a month... I'll update as soon as I get it repainted...
Need advice on how to slowly upgrade this... hehehehehehe
Thanks for viewing....

Are you sure that's a 98. Everything about it ( alloys, steering wheel, grey stripe bumpers, steel valve cover) says it's a 95.
But other than that, looks great , gotta love using a neon for a political campaign .

@JmAnneonrt: it's a personal car... the candidates i'm supporting are friends of mine... i'm just helping them out in any ways I can... What's the difference with your tail lights, mirrors and turn signals over there? Sorry as u know I'm new to this...
@metal_gear_jon: It says in the documentation that it's a 98... but maybe because it was distributed here in asia during the time but I don't know... is there a difference if I buy spare parts? even if it's a 98 or 95?

Pcm's are different, as are the engine harness, pcv system, coil packs have the round pins, instead of the flat style, valve cover and the bolts that hold it down are different, the HVAC recirc door is vacuum assisted on the newer ones, air filter box and intake tube, minor changes on the interior parts.
But the major body panels, suspension, brakes, etc... are all the same, more or less.
The great thing about the 95 Sohc's is that they have the slightly more agressive cam, before Chrysler took all the overlap out of it for 96 and up.

Definitely a 95 going by all the signs already mentioned, pcm being the dead giveaway as it and the wiring harness for that pcm are only used on 95s. Maybe Chrysler used leftovers for the foreign market?

@subzero: that's what I noticed too... the side markers... I think all outside the US have those... even the European 1gner... has it...
@laneholt: that thing is so hard to find... and maybe if I do, the filter maybe rotten... Why did they ever phase it out knowing that it was the best CAI for the neon
@Ianguilly: yea but thank fully it didn't eat through it yet.... going to have paint and bodywork done next month.... still white but with the black top...
@jamieely: yea maybe and declared it as a 98 since the neons were distributed here in the philippines(i don't know in other south east asian countries). There are only 3(according to the former NORKIS-Chrysler[former distributor of dodge cars in the philippines]). And they say I own the only 1 still running here... Hahahahahahaha! I love this car...
