But does it still work the defroster correctly or everytime you activate the defroster do the fog lights come on to?

How do the fog lights normally work? What limitations are there to when they can and can't be on? I've only owned highlines and my ACR.

You turn them on with a switch in the car but the automatically shut off with the headlights or when you turn on the high beams.

They only come one when your headlights (low beams) are emitted. Then turn off when your high beams are emitted. That is the only operation of the fog lamps on stock neons or at least all they are wired for (wired according to most laws in states).

This is a nice mod... I did on my old 99 car. Worked great with no problems experienced.

cool -- i'll definitely do this sometime this week. 8)

edit - finally done; looks great :D now i just need Depo projectors 8)

PS: I noticed a side-effect today; the hazard lights are in sync now - they dont alternate anymore; the blinkers still do though. [i find it odd - because i didnt mess with my signals. lol]

i need to take new pics now!

i did the "fogmod" when i saw the how-to on neons dot org and it definitely works as described...the foglights are now independently controlled by their switch whenever the ignition is on and does not affect anything else...the rear defroster still works as it should and the panel that holds the switches doesnt even get hot.

I removed it because i don't support this site anymore.
Like i said ... not until vinny makes some changes.
Then I'll repost all my how to's ... otherwise search it out on your own.

Your maturity continues to amaze me.
None of my how to's are word for word from someone else's.
There is always added information or they are originally mine.

For someone that implies he knows everything and as much as you post; you'd figure you would share some write ups, but yet you haven't.
So there fore you have no room to talk.

Every how to i've posted has been wanted and requested.
I've got nothing in return for it but straight bashing and i won't help out anymore.
I don't see you contributing at all.

I've contributed to this site more than anyone else has.
Vinny asked me 2 weeks before this site was launched to submit how to's to this site to get it started up and going with information (he opened the site so i could register and submit them for a certain amount of time).
I did as he requested and he has done nothing in return, but bash as well.

I will usually offer any help i can give out through pm's, but now will only do it to certain people.
It's funny chip; about 3-4 years ago YOU were asking me how to do things on the .org with your car when you were getting into glow
I wish i still had some of those pm's because they would make for some GREAT sig quotes
