well i do pull the tube out of the water every so often... the water that is sucked up is so minute that it isnt gonna hurt the motor. when you induce cleaners into your fuel it does the same thing. go to wonderlube ask for their ccc(combustion chamber cleaner) they do it the same way it goes in thru a vacum and is injected the same way. mopar cleaner is done the same way. water is les toxic completly evaporates and you don't have to change oil as soon as you do it. and when you go thru puddles and their deep you completly suck up water. to the point it all displaces the air in each cylinder.
A list of stuff needed
20oz bottle
some tubing perferably clear
water(distilled is better as their are no minerals but tap water will work too.

I forgot about that aspect of it. Seafoam is basically the same deal. Seafoam will compress just as much as water, which is none.
Mopar CCC same thing.
Any other cleaner that gets directly injected into the engine through a vacuum line is the same thing.
I did hundreds (no exaggeration) of fuel injection cleanings at the Jiffy Lube's never had a problem. iirc the bottles that got ran through the vacuum line were ~10-12 ounces. Do it in about 5 - 10 minutes and don't worry about it.

and why should i do that.. you do not have to believe me nor do you need to do it. you can believe what ever you want....i have been wrenching on cars since i was a kid my old neibor used to do this to his car. my dad used to do this in his hot rod truck. but you don't have to use this you can go out and spend your money on the chemicals or seafoam and do it.. its up to you...... the only thing that happens is your rpms dip sown a tad and lots of steam comes out the exhaust for about 6 mins....
i would also like to mention that you should use distilled water if possible. less minerals i will edit first post for this.

In turbo aplications water is used thru its own injector into the intake track to lower temps do to high boost and to help with spark knock. The srt 4 when ordering stage kits factory comes with this feature in mopar performance stock form. A normal srt4 stock will not have it but a stage 2 or 3 with toys will. they use water injection to power them. with hydro lock theirs so much water that gets sucked up it can't go to steam.

I was kinda kidding about the how to post, but you seem pretty convinced it will work...
But still I really want to see how this is done, if you know a movie or something in wich they are doing this, I would like to see it if possible
And what if you by mistake put a little too much water inside the engine???

if you were to do it that way it is only sucked up so much thru the tube......plus you can remove the tube from water ecery so often you control the rate of water injected. so as long as your not straight poring it all in at one time then you should be ok.....
and no i think the srt setup is injected into the intake water over the intercooler would not have a huge effect or even minute effect. the evaporation of water in the intake track by means of a spray will effectivly lower intake temps around 60 degress or so.

your right the stock srt4 sprayer setup sprays across the intercooler. but their are alot of kits out their that spray it into the motor. like i said a 60 hp increase is common with water or water and meth injection.racer12306 wrote:The SRT toys setup is an intercooler sprayer, i thought at least.

yup.. the evoprating water absorbs the heat lowering intake temps... they do make water injection kits though.

All the kits that i have seen use CO2, cheaper and alot colder. especially since people heat there NO2 bottle for better atomization.racer12306 wrote:Yeah, it's more common for nitrous to be sprayed over the intercoolers..
I actually watched a show in the DIY network, where they guy put a CO2 sprayer kit on a SRT-4. It only worked a WOT. good for a few extra ponies at the track

no the reason they do that is causeboth co2 and no2 super cool when depressurized. the bottle cools off and the bottle pressure goes down. nos and co2 are both as effective to cool the intercooler....cept co2 is a hell of alot cheaper.
