stem clean the inside of your motor...

well i see people are always wanting to clean the motor well why not the inside? you ever see the inside of a motor with a leaky head gasket? thats what steam does............

what you need.

a penny or 2 a 20 ounce bottle and some water.. perferably distilled. and some clear tubing. fleet farm or the like has it.

fill the bottle up half way and pull the vacum line off take some clear tubing stick it in the bottle.. start your car and use the pennys under the throttle body cam to raise the rpms to about 2500-3000 rpm's put the clear line onto the the nipple the vacunlline you pulled off. the engine will suck in the water and turn to steam and clean the whole inside of the motor..... after all the water is sucked in remove the line and hook up the vacum line again. let it run for around 15 mins drive for about 10.. and youll be golden.....do not shut it off as you could risk hydro lock.. other wise this is a pretty decent way to clean.. you don't even need to change the oil after wards.

My friend Dan just blew the headgasket on his turbo 2.3 mustang. When we pulled the head, piston 3 was as clean as can be. That was the cyl that was blown out. However, I'm not sure if im a fan of this process....seems like it would suck up too much water at once.

never no problems as long as you use a 20 oz bottle i do about half full of water. and some clear tubing into the vacum port on the tb keep the idle up and let it run about 10mins after done possibly drive it after that youll have no problems. the difference betwwen hydro lock and this is you go thru a deep puddle the water can get sucked up this is more controled.

HAHA your kidding right. This is a joke that you see all the time on car forums, there was just on on the org about polishing your intake manifold while on the car with sand, and sucking it into the engine. C'mon this is such a bad attempt a ta joke.

uh no i am serious.......... i have used it on mine
the water super heats during combustion and turns to super hot steam. the steam lossens the carbon and cleans the motor. refer to above post hg blew and were it blew the cyclinder was clean. same difference but your not injection tons of water only a little.

no ever here of water injection or methanol injection. it won't damage them.

At sears we have like this IV drip kinda thing we use for the "power engine cleaner" but other than that it is pretty similar to this. I think the IV would be better so it don't suck too much up I still pour seafoam straight from the bottle into my TB 8 it is WAY cheaper and in my opinion gets more crap out of the engine. I'd be real nervous about sucking water into my engine.

Same as a blown headgasket folks. I just don't like the vacuum tube method. Seems like it would suck too much in at once.

Yeah man, doesnt matter how I think it over, that just CAN NOT be right, putting water in ur engine... I'm gonna ask this to a mechanic I know wich is really good at what he does.

If he says its impossible, then it is...

Why don't we just put our intakes in a pot of boiling water an mash the gas suck up just a little water and hope the combustion of the engine evaps the water really quickly. I cant believe you people take this seriously.

a small amount of water in the engine is fine. water injection is VERY common. google it and you will see.

I have heard of this method before.

Think about it, if you have a CAI do you really think zero water gets sucked up on rainy days.

He's talking about 10 ounces of water, not very much. that is 2.5 ounces per cylinder total, not at one time.

It won't hurt it. Just don't be dumping it all in at once.

I rather not risk it tho, water is water. but water that is entering my engine through the intake is also alot less and it has passed through a filter so its most likely already vapor. 2.5 oz is alot of water. not worth the risk just to remove carbon deposits. especially introducing it through the vaccum system
