Any Fram XX16 or XX3614 will work.

Bigger filter = more oil, more filtering media (not better filtering)

a ph977a will screw right on too but its taller than the ground clearance of the car. but id be interested to see if it would work for a 2.4 with the sideways filter mount.

What is that filter from?

If you didn't have to worry about ground clearance you could go with an 8A. The width of the 16, but the height of the 3600.

The fram ph977a is 3 3/4" dia. x 7 1/4" tall it has the same o-ring and threads as the 8a and 16. Its used for a freightliner and some tractors. I use it on my 440 Charger, since the filter mount is sideways like some 2.4l applications.
