I have had this tool for 15 years, got it off the tool truck to help me fix all the busted Eagle Talons when I worked for Jeep, I also have been using it on the Chrysler 2.0 and 2.4 DOHC to remove and install cam gears without sheering the dowel pins which can happen if you use an impact driver... on the Mitsubishi motors it would lock the cams in perfect time to install the t-belt which really helped, on the Chrysler stuff it will not line up the timing marks, but will hold the gears like a rock to loosen to tighten the cam gear bolts.....I was installing cam seals, tensioner pulley, waterpump and ditching the plastic covers today on my donor 98 R/T DOHC that is going in my tired 95 Neon.... Snapped a couple pics to see the tool in action, I have no idea if you can get this tool anymore or if any manufacture makes something like this for the Chrysler 2.0,2.4 DOHC motor....the Kent-Moore part number is # 09000-00109 .... real time saver and no chance of sheering dowel pins
Here is a tool I use to lock DOHC cam gears.....
