pt crusier alternator in a 95 neon dohc

I want to put a bigger alternator in my 95 neon sport and I know the 120 amp from a pt will fit but the plug is wrong. Can I just cut the plug off a pt and wire it in to my neon or do the wires go different places? I have a stock 2.0 in the car.
