no power inside?

Post by 1genRTturbo » Sun Jun 26, 2011 9:14 pm

ok so i had my 2.4 swap done and it started really great and ran. shut it off several times and it restarted. but i put the headlights and body kit back on, and now i have nothing, like litteraly, NOTHNING! i put my key into the run position, and my oil light is only thing that is on and both the temp and fuel gauge go right to max. no check engine light, no ding, no battery light, nada. turn the dome light on, and the oil light comes on. turn headlights on, they dont work, but the oil light comes on. ideas? im leaning towards a headlight switch, but how the hell can that be whats wrong?
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

ok i found it. the little ground wire that goes from the head to the right fender wasnt hooked up. so, a missing or bad ground can cause a world of issues. got it fixed though now.
