stock parts: Gas tank strap and hood light

i need a gas tank strap. i've called some 2nd hand parts stores and they all cut or broke the straps to remove the gas tanks. and new they are really expensive. atm i don't want to put more than half a tank of gas because i dont want to loose my gas tanks. also, if anyone has a working under hoodlight for sale let me know, because my hood only has some wires that have been cut. Thanks!
