No its obd1 won't work for obd2

OBD1 is on vehicles made 1994 and below. all neons are OBD2. but the reason why it will not work is because the wiring harness are different from 95 to 96 and the same goes for 97-99. there is also a little difference between the programing as well i believe but i could be wrong about that lol

does the mopar performance ecu work on a automatic neon. Mine is a 95 automatic but i had the understanding it only works on manual, so will it work on my car?

Bump to help out a good seller. It will work on an automatic but there is no lockup for the convertor lock up solenoid, you would have to wire up a switch. Instructions on the big org.

It is not physically possible to plug a 96 and up harness into a 95 pcm.

1995 4 door- 2.4 swap, MTX swap,5 lug swap, CAI, Unorthodox UDP, venom 24 lbs injectors, MSD, Head milled .20, pt valvetrain, Chikara header, STS, SXT interior (Blk), Semi wire tuck, Battery relocate, Cat-PS-A/C delete, Sportlins, New Heads/Turns, and factory shiny paint....(( TURBO BUILD NOW IN PROGRESS))
