1998 2.4 ACR, decatur indiana

i have for sale a 1998 Dodge ACR with 2.4 swap. Body has 134k on it, motor is somewhere around 80k. I bought it with a smoked clutch and dead battery. turns out the motor was knocking too, but he forgot to tell me that. hence the 2.4 swap. o love this car and it handles like its on rails, but i got laid off again and need money.

Good:
Fresh headgasket, timing belt, and water pump.
New alternator
New battery
SuperD mounts, including ps and ac
Dohc5spd2dr motor mounts and solid bobble strut
2gen seats and console
CD player
clear headlights - as in not foggy, not diamond clear
mopar pcm
iceman cai
afx longtube
dynomax 2.5" catback, with spiral flow and cutout
2.0 cams
udp, i think its an afx. havent looked at it in a while
newer tires on front, rears are ok
mopar high rate springs
working and non-leaking konis
new front wheel bearings
AJ's led 3rd brake light
repro srt acr decals on doors
good paint, no flaking
Decently clean overall, no rust
COLD AC!
rear defrost delete

Bad:
rear defrost delete
driver door panel starting to separate
front rotors need turned
park brake needs adjusted
parking lot dings
holes in trunk from riceboy spoiler, courtesy of previous owner
larger dent on bottom of driver side rocker. was there when i got it.
pulls to the right slightly. i had it aligned 3 times, and they keep telling me the number look good. im stumped on this one.

pistol grip shifter and export turns and tails NOT INCLUDED. comes with graphite colored factory wheels. asking $3100. can get more pics, just ask.

VVVfrost on front bumper here, paint is good

i thought acr's didnt come with power steering

my 95 has ps...as did my 98. now...they did not come with 2.4s

All acr's had power steering from the factory.

i love my neon, i used to want an acr, but theres no difference between the way mines turned out and the way the acr would have. i want to get another one for a dd/show car cause mines loosin drivability quickly. but my next tuner will be an 85 celica with a 7mgte. i got my eyes open for one always

bump. ac blows cold now, its been a helluva long time since ive had a 1st gen with working ac. need this gone, will trade for wife/kid friendly dd (ie: bigger sedan or caravan).

You know I am tempted. I need something that is going to be dead reliable though and have kinda been leaning toward unmolested cars. I'll consider it and see what happens.

i understand the reliable thing. thats what i built this for, a dd for the wife. the kids hate it though, due to the high rates, solid mounts, and a neon-sized back seat. its never let me down except the one time i found out the crank sensor was bad. i wouldnt be afraid to drive it as is, but fix the few minor issues it has and it would rock some serious ass. its decently clean, considering all the others around this area. not perfect, but far from bad. no rust underneath, or on the body.
