I know this is an auto, and again a little high on the miles, but the condition and price are good and it's in your area.

Thanks but yeah, no red, no auto, no >125k miles and I'm trying to stick with 97 and up cars, preferably 98 and up really.

I've had my current neon daily for four years, and I hope to keep whatever I get next for about as long. I'd rather be picky now than have to deal with buying another car sooner than I prefer.

The troubles with my '95 seem to be fixed, so this isn't the huge priority it was last week.

May sound stupid to some, but others will understand...

Are you sure you want another Neon, or would you consider something else?

Nah I don't think I want anything else. I've had all these parts sitting in my basement (Konis, MP sways, maddog shifter, Depos, blah blah) waiting to be able to afford another 1st gen nice enough to put the stuff on. Now I can afford one, but I can't find any decent ones, and there's nothing else I really want for a daily. I don't want to have to learn to work on something else.

And I hope to never take out another car loan as long as I live. :)

Are those Modern or Mopar? If they're Mopar can you measure the thickness and tell me what you came up with? I swear mine were like 21 or 22mm F & R but seems like when I measured the front it came up to like 16-18 range. I was busy doing other stuff so I don't remember well but I know it wasn't the 21-22 that I thought I was getting.
Thanks,
Doug

Mopar Performance, afaik Modern never made sways. I'll try and measure them for you, but I know both were very noticeably thicker than the stock units.

Yeah, same with mine, very noticeable and well worth it. Not going to change them now, just want to know.

The platinum car is potentially still for sale, and I have the money as long as I can talk it down some. I mean, $2800 is a bit much for a clean '98 highline with 98k, right? If the AC blows cold I was thinking

Clean!!!!, but they probally only have a grand in it because they got it at the auction, so you should be able to talk them down. If you can get it for $2500 , it's a deal. (working a/c of course)

It's a fucking twin to my 98, only a plymouth. Well, mine already had a 3.0 intake, and had a banged up fender.

I'd definitely talk them down as much as possible. It's clean as hell and the miles are fairly low for the year and type of car, but it also looks like it's pretty much a base model. I'd start lower than $2500 and call that your stopping point.
