Only $719 later my computer is back up and running
Over a week ago the power company turned off power to do maintenance on a line near by and after that my computer wouldn't turn on. The motherboard has slowly been going but I kept putting it off b/c I didn't have the money. Well... that day came and it would turn on, not even post and shut right back down. Spent 3+ hours trying to get it turn on and nada... couldn't get it to come on. So I said screw it and $719+139 for a larger HDD I'm back up and running
I hate computers haha... and yet I plan on making them my career haha.
What'd I miss?

cuz the "top of the line" cpu's arent top of the line.. they r brand new, cost u a shitload of money, and are full of bugs to boot.
Built my system last summer for around 1 grand

yeah, I didn't get the top of the line MB/CPU probably somewhere in the middle or little better. but all the graphics cards, DVD burners, memory, HD and all that fun stuff was close to the best (I am sure there was better out there)

I picked up an Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe board, 500 Enermax PS w/ modular plugs, AMD 64 X2 4800+, Gefore 7600 GT, 2Gigs of Corsair XMS DDR2 PC6400 memory, and a LiteOn DVD+/-RW and RAM drive.
I think thats all... But yah... little bit of an unexpected purchase
