when I delivered some steel to the local BOCES (its a trade education school) I wandered threw the automotive section and siting in the back of the garage was a spotless NYG coupe with 20 miles (that's correct twenty miles) on the odometer. I asked the instructor about it and he told me it was something that the local dodge dealer donated when it was new, but they did something with the vin numbers to where the car can't be put on the road and even parts with numbers can't be used. (basically the car has to be brought back to the dodge dealer so they can take it and crush it)
What a shame

Damn, there's a 2005 Chevy Duramax at our school with 20k on it or so, black extended cab regular bed in great shape, same story on that one, someone donated it and in the end it's gonna get crushed.
Oh well, we've beat the piss out of that thing several times.

This one don't even look like the class touched it. there's also a 98'ish camero, a pickup and a few crap box (omni, chevette) cars that are completly trashed.

you need to get the vin # and send jeff b it so he can add it to the list.
(I think jeff b is the one that collects them)

ya, same story at the community college here. the auto tech program has all kinds of stuff donated from local dealers. one is a spotless mid/late 90's caddy (can't remember the model, maybe seville?) that is in the same situation as that place's neon.
