A TRUE SRT SWAP
lol OHHHHH it all makes since to me now. No I just dont let it get to me any more bc it really does help out when they want to run you. Also why I have no prob showing what I have done bc as long as people like these are out there the neon will always be underrated and undefeated (lol)

Well with all this flipping snow we have gotten this was day 2 I couldn't get out of the house so....
It stopped snowing and I started to tackle the SRT dash swap
I think this looks much better and thanks to SRTminime I'll be able to get the additional 3 gauges mounted. I figure about one good day of working on this and I should have it done. But without a garage and the unpredictable weather its hit or miss.

So I got back from my trip back down to NC and defiantly didn't come back empty handed.
This is inside a Kia Sedona lots of room for everything but hate to admit I drove a van esp a kia
What is all there you ask...
.... well there is a front bumper with nostrils and fog lights, radiator support, SRT rims, fenders, hood, windshield washer reservoir, alternator, all wiring front to rear (uncut to allow for a next to no splice install), TIP w/ all vacuum lines and solenoids and, SRT radiator w/fans. Im sure there is some more little things Im forgetting but lets just say I had most of a SRT in the back of the car.
Decided to put the front bumper on but saw a small problem....
.... guess I know how to fix it :good:
Also had a chance to snap a quick pic of the dash swap as it looks currently.
Still need to extend the steering column but am waiting for a exact measurement to get the work done.

So today was a pretty productive day SRT dash swap is officially complete just waiting to get my steering column back this sat and the gauge pods to arrive in the mail. So as proof heres the pics as you can see all body lines are smooth across the board. :good:
Also got the SRT rims on. (please dont mind the hood tilt I dont like it either but need it like that while fitting the SRT windshield cowl.)
As you can see its dirt as crap but thats a gravel driveway for you.

Just got back from the shop and got the peddles and steering column back.
Here are the pics its a little hard to see but if you look close you can see the SRT WOT switch installed. Also the brake switch is now for the SRT as well.
And here is the steering column. With the dash swap it needed extended by exactly 1.8 inches. So the solution extend the brackets and then add to the shaft. As you can see I got the brackets extended using factory neon brackets moved to the proper distance needed. Then made a custom shaft extension.
