thats not a bad deal at all.. tell her you will take the whole damn car for 150 and part it out keep the shit you need and do your own build! you will come out making way over 150 and you will have a 2.4 to play with! 8)

yep, as a matter of fact, her parents still drove it around after the accident while their car was in the shop. my only problem with the whole thing is coming up with the extra $150 to get it, cause my share of the rent and bills is close to $200 a payday, thats not including gas for my car and food, and with the hours im working im only bringing home around $220 every 2 weeks

accually not really, it took me forever to find this one. i worked at mcdonalds from the middle of 2004 till feb. of this year and i brought home close to $600 a paycheck(working 45-50 hrs a week and making close to $8 an hour). i quit there to go to college in ohio but the finacial aid ppl fucked around and didnt approve me on time, so i wasnt able to go. so i went searching for another job and NOBODY is really hiring. so after about 4 months of being jobless, i went to go see if i could get my job back at mcdonalds, and my sister, who started about aug. of 07, and my best friend were becoming managers there so they said no cause they would favorite me, when in reality they would work me harder then anybody else. then after another 4 months of looking, one of my other friends, who works at kmart, finally got me a job there, when i first started i was working close to 40 hrs a week but then they "promoted" me from bitch boy(i did anything and everything there) to stock boy  (they call me a filler, but all i do is stock shelves) and gave me a $.25 raise, but cut my hrs a week in half. so im gonna see if i can get a second job at like papa johns or something and work 5-close since i only work 12-4 at kmart

Look at some cherokees, they come with the inline 6 4.0, they have a good amount of power. Most around here are under 3k

^ LOL, i would say go turbo..If your planning on doing a forged internal rebuild, for the same amount of money you could go low compression and then save up that other little bit and buy a turbo and manifold...

your thinking is great though..

I am also searching for a 2.4 as my entire 4door r/t is a winter project, blew a headgasket on the 2.0 AND the car has no heat so im going to tear out the heatercore and make it a summer car only

GL on which ever way you decide to go
