I'm not saying he's wrong by any means, I say do to YOUR car what YOU want to do. I'm just suggesting maybe taking a different route than all motor since I've seen first hand somebody go through the trial and failure of a high dollar all motor SOHC build.

Tyler stopped at a built top end, full bolt-ons, box intake manifold, etc. and realized it wasn't worth it, so he parted out most of it and is now planning a 2.4T build.

For all the "told ya so" members, again, I am NOT telling him he's wrong for doing it, there are fast all motor SOHC's out there, I'm just suggesting he take a better bang for your buck route.

Well, I do have a bottle for the car, just haven't filled it yet. I'm gonna get some nitrous times on Saturday. I will get the 12.5:1 motor, use a head shim so I can run pump gas, and spray it too. I just like the SOHC, not sure. I've always wanted a fast sohc since I saw blaise's car years ago. I'm sure if I was using a crane 14 instead of the 004 I would have better times, I just can't get it to 60' as well as I wanted. I might try a harder launch I'm just afraid of dumping the clutch on my DR's.

You buying hondakiller's motor? If so, that motor on spray will be awesome!

BTW, Koseis are on. I need to lower it a little bit to close up the wheel gap, then hopefully I'll get some pics up before it gets retired until Spring.

Awww man, I need pics of that.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna get hondakiller's motor, and sell the top end. My head on that motor would be killer, ironically.

I know, I love the car, I love the sohc, and I'm gonna get it to run what I wanted. I need to get from a 2.28 60' to a 2.1. If I can get an awesome launch out of it, I could get mid 14's. I have the MPH, just not the low end.

I know, if I had known better I would have built a 2.4 and would still like to. Once I get me a job in the spring and get another car I will begin a big transformation. But I cant justify doing anything to Vicky since shes my daily and I need her for my commute to school all winter. I may pick up a motor before it gets too cold, but doubt it.

I found out there was a 15-20 MPH headwind today, could have played a factor. I'm gonna try to run next weekend again.
