trying to make an real car (2.4 sohc is in and runing )

well here is some info about my car and my plans

ill start out with what i got now them ill talk about my plans for the car

ok on the body it a 96 2door was wreaked in the pass side rear panel when i got the car seens then i have fix the rear panel by pulling it most out adding a little sheet metal and very little bondo

for the motor bay it still needs some work i started out by polishing my valve cover

the about 3 nights ago i got my body kit its a used xenon kit i traded a old parted out neon

as for the inside im still work on it i have a dash with some gauges im working on molding in ill post pics up latter and my seats ar tensno r raceing seats i have 2 blue 4 pont harnesses for the car too

and now for the go fast stuff
the motor
its a new rebuilt dohc bottom end i rebuilt my self 430 miles ago with a sohc head that has been ported and gasket matched to a match a 03 rt head
for right now i have a 95 cam
the intake is a 95 metal intake with the injector humps took out and gasket matched with a 60mm tb and a ice man intake
as for the exhast side of the motor its kind of in need of a long tube but for now i the car has a ported manafold (all i had when we put it togeather)
the cat has been delete and has a turbo muffer with a turn down

im also runing n20
i finly got rid of runinf my old nx efi wet kit and now have a

nos direct port n20 kit

now for the plands

i plan on buiding a high conpression 2.4 sohc
im going to run 10.1 conpression pistions
a comp 400 cam
crane valve springs
and some other goodys

for the body of the car im going to make a 3 inch cowl hood with eye lids
the car is going to be all spay gun flat black seens i dont want to put the time in to takeing all the little dings out and a flat black wil help hide them lol

and for the inside im going to just mold in some gauges and put new black carpet and head liner in ans a new stering wheel

the rims came off a 2 gen i thank it was a 03 or maby a 05 im not sure but i gave 75.00 for them there only 15s but there light so its all good

well its time for the 2.4 hehe thanks to moparman96 aka zack for helping me pull the motor out

but we started on the 2.4 and im also working on a 2 inch colw hood for the car

well i finly got my 2inch colw hood done after about a week of a few hours a night out at the shop the primer is drying tonight its going on tomorro ill post some pics tomorro and i thank next cheek ill have enuff money to get my 2.4 sohc done and ready to drop in just have yo pick up a few more thangs firsr

Stupid question, did you do the black hood yourself ? It looks pretty good, way better than my DIY black hood.

ye i made my hood it took about a week working on it a little evey night and some on the weekend

heres a better pic i just took would of got closer up but its raining out
