Post by sohcneon13x » Tue Feb 13, 2007 5:53 pm

Work is slow, so I thought I would share my project. No pics yet, but I post some soon. I have a 96 SOHC MTX expresso coupe. It will be getting a Magnum head with a crane 14, crane springs, adj cam gear on a rebuilt DOHC block. I will be running a Mopar street header, high flow cat, and 2.5" exhaust to a Borla muffler. Thats the gist of it to date.
It looks like crap, it's a 96 paint peeling white coupe!
But looks are not exactly what I'm looking for right now!
I want SPEED!
Current motor mods:
-Mopar Performance ECU
-Modern Performance UDP
-3.0 tube CAI with K@N filter
-MSD coil with MSD 8.5mm plug wires
-ATX throttle body
-Borla muffler
-BoogerBushings bobble strut
-AC removed
other current mods:
-Maddog STS
-Mopar X-High rate springs:front/rear
-KYB struts
-Mopar 16mm rear sway bar
-front strur tower brace
-16" ADR wheels w/ 205/40-16 Dunlop GT Qualifier tires
-2ng gen center console
-SRT-4 shift boot
-2003 SXT front and rear seats
-Pioneer cd player with CHEAP speaker replacements
-TYC headlights
-European taillights w/ sockets (the REAL DEAL!)
-European amber front turn marker lights
-aftermarket fog lamps
-CUSTOM LGE (lawn garden egding) front spoiler!!!!
-the most custom paint you can get. It changes every time I wash it!

FUTURE PLANS:
-Rear disc brake conversion
-BUILT Magnum head
-rebuilt DOHC block
-Mopar Street header
-Magnaflow 2.5" hi-flow cat
-Dynomax 2.5" exhaust piping
-AMM (All Motor Mike) from the org Custom Box Manny or ITB setup I'M LEANING TOWARDS THE ITB'S!
-Walpro fuel pump
-3.94 mtx?
-15" Chrysler Labaron wheels with BFG G-Force tires 205/50-15
-14" ASA (made by BBS) wheels powdercoated gunmetal (weigh just under 14lbs) wearing Falken Azenis RT-615's
