1998 SOHC Turbo build up

Post by schmitty » Mon Feb 12, 2007 10:17 pm

Hey whats up. Im in the process of build a sohc turbo motor. My plans are to rebuild a factory bottom end and a factory rebuilt head and put a t25 turbo on it. Kindof a small turbo but it will get the job done. Going for a little over 200 whp so i can have some fun and still have a little more reliable of a car. So here goes.

The car: Image

Motor im building...gonna include new crank, bearings, pistons, rings, rods, wrist pins..geting the block cleaned up and painted red...

Head is going to just get all new factory parts...

My turbo setup includes:
-hahn log manifold
-t25 turbo
-johnny racecar intercooler(might sell)
-greddy type rs bov
-2.5" IC piping
-2.5" dp and exhaust

Fuel Setup includes:
-15 gallon fuel cell
-walbro inline fuel pump and filter
-cartech fmu
-ss line

Other stuff includes:
-55mm tb
-mp pcm
-removed the ps and ac pumps and all
-new motor mounts
-booger bushings
-hawk brake pads
-drilled and slotted rotors

-wings west kit
-black turn signals
-tinted tails and corners
-cowl hood
-dodge windshield banner
-17x7.5 Axis Reberbs

-eibach sportlines
-kyb gr2 struts
-eibach antisways
-camber kit
-suspension bushings

Im also building a custom guage cluster because i am sick of my gauges jumping up and down and whatnot...im going to wrap that template for the gauges in carbon fiber for the carbon fiber gauges

-red/black shift boot
-sparco shift knob
-sparco carbon fiber pedals
-carbon fiber speedo, tach, fuel level, and water in the custom cluster
-carbon fiber boost, oil pressure and volt on the triple apillar
-7" indash touch screen dvd player
-momo hub adapter and pilota 1 steering wheel
-wrapping my factory seats red

Thats what i got for now...im going to get more pics and everything as i go..hoping to have it all done by June. Any feedback good or bad would be great. Thanks.
