Little update. Crankshaft is junk on the engine I tore apart at school but we milled the block .030" and everything specs out fine. Still gotta find a crank for it but I have a few leads.

Got 85% of the parts, just need pistons, bearings, and gaskets, and a crank scraper. Plus the crank itself, then it's ready to go together. Should be in the next 3 weeks.

Picked up a 3.94 from my buddy's 98 R/T. Has 45k miles on it, and around 5k on the OBX diff that's in it. Only thing wrong with it is the damn passenger side axle was stuck so the tulip part is still in it:

Need to take the diff apart and get the axle out. Then I'll make sure all the shit in it is still good (should be) and upgrade the stuff that OBX forgot to do. That'll make the trans bullet-proof basically and I'll be set there. :)

Well as of now, no OBX. No big deal, it was almost free.

I got the OS valves, ready to put them in soon just need to cut the seats and port it a bit.

Brand new SRT pistons, moly rings, coated rod bearings, and non-coated main bearings should be here next week from a buddy down in Texas.
Brand new Mopar crankshaft should be here soon, got that from Hahn Racecraft for cheap through another buddy.

Rest of the stuff I need is all piddly shit. Not sure if the motor will be finished by the time class is over, but the head will be and so will all the machining. Guess I can finish it up over break lol.

Well looks like I'm getting Koni's to put on, and already have a set of Eibach sportlines. That'll help it drive in a straight line and handle much better. :)

What, $280 shipped is a good deal on Koni's with under 4k miles on them? Damn, so how about the Sportlines I got for $150. Wait, those came with an R/T trans, 5-speed swap, R/T rims, and red squiggle seats for $150 total.

Lol I probably got everything for this build for way under what most people can get them for. I'll probably have under $1000 in the motor easily. Anyone could have gotten the Koni's though, I just pm'd him first. :)

And yeah, I got Skillz

Well the SOHC blew up last week, so a buddy let me borrow a DOHC he had lying around as a spare for his turbo R/T. Put it in today and it runs good again, also threw the exhaust on cuz I figured why the fuck not. Pistons, valves and bearings showed up. Crank too but I gotta send that back cuz they sent the wrong one, I was supposed to get a brand new one.

All I need now is the crankscraper, some gaskets, timing tensioner and cam gears and it'll be ready to go together.

Next week I'm gonna start wiring up MS since I'll have nothing better to do.

Well looks like the car is basically totalled. Hit in the front, not too bad but the subframe got tweaked. Still driving it but looks like the ultimate place the engine is gonna go will be my 97 ACR coupe, since I was gonna re-do almost everything on this car I might as well start there. Oh well, now I have a true beater

It hardly looks like anything unless you get close. Quote from body shop came out to $1924.95 and that doesn't include the possible damage to the subframe, which he said would need to be measured etc. Oh well, time to get the ACR out

I'd get pics but my camera got sent back to Kodak last week since it stopped turning on...

Well I'm picking up a 2.4 and a 3.55 next Saturday for $250, so I can give the engine back to my buddy and have it be like it was when I got it. Stock 2.4L, 3.55, running 14.9-15.0's all day
