Minus the fart cannon and fenders, it looks good.

Agreed. Sell the fenders or paint them to match the rest of the body. Ditch the fart can in favor of anything else.

I think if you had a carbon hood/trunk the fenders would work better. The stock sidemarkers would probably flow more smoothly with the other dark colours. Overall I actually like it though. Not something I'd buy for one of my Neons, but I like it.

What is a good idea for a new exhaust setup then?

Get a magnaflow or some other higher quality muffler in stock position. Then a simple pipe at the end of the muffler which doesn't stick out too much. Tuck the muffler up fairly high so it looks clean. Will sound better than stock and won't cost much either. Until you do some serious mods on the car, the stock 2.25 piping flows well with a non restrictive muffler.

Look for a used Thermal R&D muffler on neons.org. They pop up every once in a while. If you cant find one, I would go with a Dynomax cat-back because they are not that loud.

I have a Dynomax 2 1/4" in, single 2 1/4" out muffler. I painted it black and it tucks up really nicely in the stock location. I'll have to see if I have any pics of it on photobucket.

actually doesn't look too bad although would put stock fenders back on although if they did match the car might look better...and stock signals....I use to have the white side markers and now I think thye just make the car look cheap and tacky

car looks really nice. tires look super clean lol black magic ftw? haha
but those fenders just look terrible on it. everything else is fine as long as you like it. i mean im not personally a fan of the tails, turns, or muffler but to each his own. paint looks really clean too. keep her nice and waxed!
