My first car was a Red SOHC coupe. Looks nice, needs some bubble wheels or another Neon alloy wheel.

Hope there wasn't too much damage.

Not my first car, but my first Neon was a red SOHC coupe, a '98 Plymouth with MTX and no AC. In fact, knowing you're in Cincy I thought it could have been mine when I saw the pics, but it isn't.

Not a bad starting point. Let me know if you need any random parts, I have tons of shit, some of it I will give away.

I'm actually supposed to go get a red 96 coupe shell sometime in the next couple weeks for $70. If it's in good shape I'll likely put it back together as a mostly stock car with a few small mods. If not, then it will donate most of its suspension to The Misfit and it will drive again!

Ditch the tacky fake R/T badges. Like everyone else said, wheels will make it look nice. I would at least put some hub caps back on. The black steelies make the tires look huge. Now is a good time to put a fog light bumper on.

Props to you for not murdering the outside with Pepboys crap like most people your age do.

Seats look nice, painted interior is not for me though.

Did you modify the seats to fold forward?

2gn seats are a great cheapy upgrade as most of the 1gn seats are worn down and weren't the greatest to begin with, plus SRT front seats cost usually twice as much as a full set of 2gn's.
