Was this some modification that is like burried deep in... "Phase 4 of Neon Ownership" that I just missed or something? I haven't done the trunk mod either, maybe I missed an entire section.

lol naw. I actually like the way the tilt looks. whether some want to believe it or not, it is functional doing this. not entirely functional, but there are proven results. to some, the car drastically loses its eye candy-like looks(not really...c'mon its a neon), but you get where Im coming from.


to make a long story short, I did it b/c I wanted to.

my coolant temp gauge is usually at around 210-215*F, after driving around to full running temp I see it around 195-200*F...proven enough?

What kinda gauge are you getting your readings from?

naw Im kidding. Like I said, I did it b/c I wanted to. who knows what temps this mod drops the regular under the hood temp to? i dont, I really dont care. just let me be a ricer for once. lol.

but really I was kiddin with the temps and shit.

it looks like you slamed your hood with a screwdriver under each hinge.

I basically got some longer bolts and threw some large ass spacers in between the hinges and hood. easy to do but aligning it was a little tricky.
